Drinks at weddings are an easy and simple way to tie together many of the different segments of the day. If you’ve planned everything out well, whether or not you are short or long on time, there’s always the opportunity for a quick cocktail hour or sit down with a drink to entertain guests and link things together.
- Cocktails
As the wedding party is getting their photos done, the guests can amuse themselves on the grass or in the reception area with some light cocktails and conversation. It’s the perfect opener to the speeches and meals.
- Hot drinks
If you have a winter wedding 
or one which stretches out into a cooler evening, a serving of hot drinks, especially after the big meal or later on, can be the perfect antidote to a little chill or a full stomach.
- Cold drinks
There is nothing better or more refreshing than a chilled cider or lemonade on a hot day, so summer weddings should have plenty for guests.
- Open bar
An open or pay as you go bar is a choice that’s totally up to you. You can meet guests halfway with a keg or two of beer as well.
