If there’s one thing to look forward to post-wedding, it’s your honeymoon. Every couple is different when it comes to the honeymoon, so do your own thing and forget the pressure.

  • Delayed honeymoon

So you’re not jetting off right away? That’s your decision. Maybe you’re saving up, perhaps you’re having some chilled hometime first, or maybe you want to get all the post-wedding stuff completed.

  • Staycation

You don’t necessarily need to go away if you don’t want to. Enjoying your hometown, and going “off grid” for a while, can still do the trick. Book yourself in at a nice hotel, tick off activities you’ve never got round to doing, and do what you want.

  • Extravagant

If you really plan to go all out, then go for it! This is your chance to go as big as you want, and who’s to judge? Take this time to throw yourself into holiday mode.

  • Stop planning

You’ve probably still got other things to sort out; thank you cards, gift opening, wedding photography, name change, but this is your honeymoon. There’s a time for planning and a time for relaxing, so enjoy and set aside your to-do list.
